Winslow State Park shares Mount Kearsarge with Rollins State Park. Winslow is located in Wilmot, New Hampshire on the northwest slope of the mountain
Winslow offers two hiking trails to the summit. The Winslow Trail is marked with red blazes and leaves from the parking area. It climbs 1.1 miles and 1,100 feet through the forest and over bare granite ledge to the 2,937 foot summit. The Barlow Trail is marked with yellow blazes and leaves from the parking area. Although it is a longer hike of 1.7 miles, it is a more gradual ascent to the summit. Hikers on these trails can enjoy views of the Lake Sunapee Region, the Andover area, Ragged Mountain, and Mount Cardigan.
Spring operating hours begin April 25 and are weekends from 9am – 5pm.

Pets are permitted in the park but must remain on a leash and attended to at all times.
Pavilion Information
Pavilion Rental Hours:
Mon. - Sun. 8am to Sunset
The pavilion is not available for rental on holidays or holiday weekends.
The Overlook View Pavilion:
The overlook view can accommodate up to 50 people and is located on the left of the auto road. This area has a small pavilion with picnic tables. It is an ideal spot for a canopy. The location offers views of Sunapee Mountain, Ragged Mountain, and Vermont.
It is recommended that you bring your own gas/charcoal grills and drinking water. Wood fires are not permitted per NH State Fire Marshal. The pavilion does not have electricity. Small generators are permitted. In addition, there are no flushed toilets, running water or changing rooms. Porta potties are available including a handicap pit toilet. The park also has a playground.
Price:
1 - 50 guests have a rate of $200.00
The fee applies to brief/all day events and covers admission and parking.
Cancellations
may be made 30 days prior to the event date and the fee will be refunded. Cancellations made 29 - 15 days prior to the event date shall forfeit half the total fee. 14 days or less shall not have any fees refunded. Refunds are not given due to inclement weather and rain dates are not available.
Additional Information the Renter Should Know:
Alcohol is allowed.
NH parks have a carry in/carry out policy for trash. No Glass Allowed
For weddings, please use birdseed instead of rice as this food is harmful to wildlife.
Please do not release balloons into the air.
All decorations, including tents must be removed the day of the event.
Due to limited parking spaces, carpooling is highly recommended
Special use permits are required for, but not limited to, events that are outside the normal recreational activities for the requested area. Any questions should be discussed with park staff prior to the event. There is a processing fee of $100.
All permits require certificate of insurance liability with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate.

Cancellations
Cancellations MUST be made prior to 9AM of the day of your visit. There will be no refunds due to weather, insects, or failure to attend the park without prior notice. Refunds requested for extenuating circumstances must be submitted to: nhparks@dncr.nh.gov where they will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Off-Season Use
During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
NH Senior Discount:
Indicate that you are a NH senior on your order details page and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However, there is a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system.
